Jack Mannebach 2024 Missionary Page
'19, '20, '21, & '23 Rider | '22, & '24 Support Crew | Director of Spirituality
Welcome!
Hello everyone, I am Jack Mannebach, the Director of Spirituality for Biking for Babies and I am currently going into my 6th year as a missionary. This year I will be a Support Crew Missionary on the Michigan route, going from Ann Arbor, MI > St. Louis, MO. I first joined Biking for Babies in 2019 and was a rider on the Northern Route. Since then I have biked all over Wisconsin in 2020, Columbus OH > St. Louis MO in 2021, done support crew from Natchez MS > Lake Geneva WI in 2022, and rode from Columbus, OH > St. Louis again in 2023.
Biking for Babies has blessed my life abundantly. It has given me the opportunity to grow closer to God, granting me the desire to do His will while being able to meet some of the most amazing people and join a loving community. Joining Biking for Babies has brought so much joy and purpose to my life and I look forward to spreading this life saving (and changing) mission to all of you. Over the past year I have realized that I have not done nearly enough for all of you that have supported me over the years and that I have not adiquately invited you into the mission of Biking for Babies.
About this page:
My hope is to share the mission of Biking for Babies and how it has impacted my life with all of you in a much deeper way. I have included stories from the past 6 years, a testimony video about my time at Biking for Babies and how it has impacted me, any blog posts or resources I have made over the last 6 years and I will continue to update this page over the next several months. I pray that this page teaches you more about the mission of Biking for Babies, about Pregnancy Resource Centers, and how to support women in need.
For all of you that have supported me throughout the years, I can not thank you enough. You have all changed my life in so many incredible ways.
Thank you and God Bless,
Jack Mannebach
- 6 time missionary & Director of Spirituality
Special Thank you
I would like to give a special thank you to my parents, my brother, Pete, his wife Shea and my grandparents, Nana, Gogo and Chief for being my biggest supporters throughout this journey.

Pray for women who are about to have an abortion
Biking for Babies is excited to announce its new, Clinic Prayer Force initiative. The goal of this initiative is to help everyone integrate their faith with the pro-life movement. We reached out to our partnering Pregnancy Resource Centers to find times when abortion clinics are performing their abortions. We received times covering the entire week. You are invited to sign up for 15 minute time slots to pray for women that are about to get an abortion. Please follow the link below for more information and to sign up!

My Timeline Throughout Biking for Babies w/ my favorite memory
2019
1st year | Rider | Northern Route
On day 4 we pulled off to pray in a chuch. Myself and the 7 other male riders started chanting songs and we were horrible! When we were finished we went outside and a women drove by asking if we saw her Black Lab. Some of our riders took off looking for the dog. It eventually walked passed the church and then we tracked the lady down and got her dog back to her. We then proceeded to get back on the road but then this store owner runs into the road to stop us. He goes, "I've been following your tracker for 2 hours while you were just up the road, please come in and have something on the house."2020
2nd year | Rider | Northern Route
In 2020 I our route leader and due to COVID the National Ride would be happening in Northern Wisconsin. Every route stayed in the same location which was an amazing opportunity to get to meet everyone. Each day every route would have their own "loop" around Northern Wisconsin. We ended up biking over 675 miles with a lot of elevation. But thankfully, what goes up must come down! My favorite memory from this year was our Support Crew. Everyday they found a new way to make us laugh. They found a broom and started sweeping away the gravel like a curling pro, or handing us dipped McDonalds Chicken Nuggets while we were riding.2021
3rd Year | Rider | Eastern Route
In my 3rd National Ride I was blessed to be able to get to ride with my brother and now sister-in-law. This year we had my favorite stop of all time! Halfway through day 4 we rolled into Casey, Illinois. The slogan of this town is, "Big Things Small Town". Casey has 12 of the world's largest objects such as, Rocking Chair, Wind Chime, and SeeSaw (which we got to ride).2022
4th Year | Support Crew | Southern route
My first year as Support Crew and first year in a post Roe world. When I think back about this National Ride I think the devil was terrified of what we were doing and did everything he could to stop us. Our first two days were filled with an incredible amount of challenges and spiritual warefare. On day 4 the riders had finished their 85 mile day before noon, which is almost unheard of. However, we found out that our group had COVID. We could either pack our bags and go home or find somewhere we could quaranteen together and finish the ride like we did in 2020. Within 2 hours we had the car packed and were driving from Dyersburg, TN to Lake Geneva, WI to finish the week out. Although this week was one of the most challenging weeks of my life it was incredibly moving. No matter what unplanned events we were hit with the riders always got back on the bike and kept riding and I have never seen the mission of Biking for Babies lived out more fully.2022-2023
1st | Director of Spirituality
In the fall of 2022, I joined Biking for Babies's Executive Team as the Director of Spirituality. It has been a blessing to share my faith and passion for this ministry with all of our missionaries and all of you. This year the two projects I have been working on the most are our Support Crew Training Plan and the Clinic Prayer Force! You can find a link to the Clinic Prayer Force above and the Support Crew Training Plan in the blog.2023
5th Year | Rider | Eastern Route
My 5th National Ride was the most peaceful week of my life! During a time when life was confusing God surrended me with so much peace, joy, and love!2024
2nd Year | Director of Spirituality
I am currently in my 2nd year as the Director of Spirituality for Biking for Babies. This year we have updated our monthly spiritual reflections to now be weekly. To help our missionaries connect with the mission of Biking for Babies each reading has 4 reflection questions and I get to lead weekly prayer calls to invite our missionaries to dive even deeper into the mission.2024
6th Year | Support Crew | Michigan Route
Currently, I am preparring to be a support crew missionary on the Michigan Route. I am blessed to be joined this year by some close friends. I look forward most to energizing the riders throughout the days and sharing the joy of this mission to those we encounter on the rode.!
Pregnancy Resource Center Shoutout

Intentions
If you have anything you would like me to pray for, you can include them on this page. My team and I will be praying for you all and your intentions during the National Ride
The Spirituality Of biking for babies
If any of you have ever wondered why I continue to do the National Ride and stay involved in Biking for Babies, this is why. The catchphrase at Biking for Babies is, "Offer it up." All of the pain on the bike, the time spent in training, the uncomfortableness of asking others for support, and the fear a 600 mile bike ride can all be offered up in place of the suffering of a woan going through an unplanned pregnancy. Throughout the last 6 years I have been blessed to be paired with some amazing life-affirming Pregnancy Resource Centers. All of these centers share heartbreaking stories of what these woman are going through and the challenges they are facing. If I as a pro-lifer am asking these women to carry these immense crosses, then at the very least I can continue to participate in the National Ride and support them the best I can.
